Galfenol (FeGa) Thin Film Deposition

DESCRIPTION

Galfenol, an alloy of Fe and Ga, is a mechanically robust and malleable material with moderately large magnetostriction, low switching field, high Curie temperature (Tc) and less-temperature-dependent magneto-mechanical behavior. It plays a key role in both direct and converse multiferroic applications due to its strong coupling between magnetization and strain.

• Deposition Thickness: between 10 to 500 nm
• Compatible Substrates requirements:
• Material: Si, Sapphire and PMN-PT
• Maximum Substrate size: 6” in diameter
• Maximum Substrate thickness: 500 µm
